Established in 2003, The Edith Laufer Neuropsychoanalytic Clinical Study Center of NPAP is the first treatment Center in the City of New York to provide psychodynamic psychotherapy to patients with brain injuries. Our experienced therapists help patients to reestablish a sense of self, to enhance inner strength, to come to terms with their losses and offer realistic hope both for patients and their families.

The Center’s licensed clinicians also provide ongoing education, facilitate reading groups, give presentations at national and international conferences and contribute to scholarly journals.
